Tree Work

This area of our expertise is very wide and has been broken down into the following:

Tree Surgery and Tree Surgeons

We have many years of experience at tree surgery. We advise on all types of surgery work, dismantle, straight tree felling, lifting out by crane etc. We write reports for local district councils to apply for permission and we have regular contact with people in all local districts. We can advise on tree preservation orders and conservation areas.

Hedgework and Hedge Laying

We have great knowledge and expertise in all types of hedgework, including all aspects of high hedgework. This maybe summer leylandii or the winter hawthorn maintenance work.

We have an experienced team of hedgelayers, who employ methods such as laying, stooling and coppicing, thus creating a revived hedge without the removal of it and not losing total privacy.

Tree Planting, including large trees

We have many years of tree planting experience whether this is a small hedgerow or a large 30' tree.

We can advise on the type of tree, looking at the aspect of the site, the soil type, the physical restrictions.

We have planted many large trees mostly up to 30', however larger ones can be accommodated. They are planted using a digger or Hymac, with underground supports.

Woodland Management

Experts are on hand to advise on all types of tree and woodland management. We can fell and tidy woodlands. We can help apply for the correct licences for tree felling and apply for various grants available.

We advise on woodland planting as well as planting them.

Where?

Anywhere, however most of our work is in and around Norwich. Over the years we have covered many parts of Norfolk and North Suffolk. At present some of our jobs take us to Lowestoft in the East, Cromer in the North, Diss in the South and Swaffham in the West.
